In 2018, the Boston Architectural College celebrated the intersection of design, food, and beverage. We transformed the event space at the Boston Design Center into a showcase of tastings and design by pairing BAC students and local professional designers together to fabricate innovative and evocative signs for Boston’s best restaurants and bars. The synergy of the student-fabricated signs, professional design partners, and local restaurants and bars added a vibrant splash of personality and uniqueness to the 2018 Spring Gala.
In 2017, guests delighted in sushi from Fuji at West of Chestnut, tacos from Gala Co-Chair Taniya Nayak’s new restaurant Antique Taqueria, salad prepared by celebrity chef Jason Santos of Buttermilk and Bourbon, craft cocktails created by master mixologist Jarek Mountain of Lion’s Tail Boston, tahini shrimp noodle bowls from Legal Seafoods, and “the Herc” prepared by James Beard award–winning chef Joey Adams from Saloniki Greek.
